How to Get Ready for a Summer Wedding

Summer is officially 4 days away which means that bikinis, sunshine, travel, and summer weddings are on top of everyone’s lists. With the added heat of summer, the first step in making sure that you are wedding ready is finding the perfect dress. The second step is perfecting an easy and effortless makeup look that will simultaneously give you that “summer glow” and withstand the heat. I teamed up with Clé de Peau Beauté to create a chic and radiant makeup tutorial that will work perfectly for any summer wedding. Every great look starts with a really great base, which is why I’m truly obsessed with this foundation. It goes on super easily, gives full coverage but still looks natural, has SPF (which is a total must for those outdoor weddings) and leaves a matte finish (which is perfect for photos)! Since it’s extremely pigmented, a little goes a long way. I usually put some of the product on the back of my hand, then dab some of the foundation onto my forehead, cheeks, and chin to blend outwards. For my eyes, I picked light pink/brown/nude colors to give a little wash of color. I put the pink color all over my lid, then I smudged some of the brown near my lash line to help define my eyes. Using my finger, I used the lightest shade as a highlighter for my inner eye and underneath my brow bone to lighten it up. I like that these particular shadows left my lids looking really silky, giving me a subtle glow. I can’t even tell you how much I’ve been loving cream blush recently! This one by Clé de Peau comes in the cutest little jar and has argan oil in it which leaves me with the perfect amount of flush. Cream blush is perfect for warm weather since it’s super light and easily blends into your skin like it’s always been there! I use the leftover from my finger to blot onto my lips! If your clutch can only hold one thing for the wedding, make it this blush! Nothing can brighten up your face better than this one can! To complete my summer wedding look, I mixed two lipstick shades to give me almost an ombre lip. I applied the darker shade first, then I dabbed the lighter shade in the middle of my lip and blended out with my finger. The lighter shade acts as almost a highlighter to lighten up my entire face! sponsored by Clé de Peau Beauté I like my summer wedding makeup to look flawless but natural.
