Happy day 7 of the 12 Days of CHRIS-elle! Today I teamed up with another brand that’s very near and dear to my heart (and stomach)- gr8nola! I’m sure you’ve seen this little purple package all over my Instagram on several occasions so today I’m getting a little creative and using my gr8nola to share my top 3 guilt-free holiday treats! . This time of year means lots and lots of super yummy and rich food, and even more desserts! But if you’re like me and you’re trying to be a little bit more health conscious this holiday season, then these sweet treats are perfect for you. Using my gr8nola, I created 3 healthy treats to satisfy your sweet tooth! What I love about gr8nola is that it’s made with amazing clean and simple ingredients and made without dairy and refined sugar! It’s all natural, non-GMO and only has about 5g of sugar and still tastes amazing. What’s not to love? Parfait The first sweet treat I made was this delicious parfait. Parfaits are great because you can really customize it to include anything you want! For the holiday version of my parfait, I included some cinnamon, blueberries, coconut shavings, banana, some Greek yogurt and of course, my gr8nola! It’s a great breakfast option to give you energy for the day and to make it even sweeter, try drizzling some honey! Trail Mix I usually like to eat my gr8nola by itself, but recently I started to mix my own trail mix. For those days that I really need that extra bit of sweetness, I like to add some chocolate covered raisins! For even more texture, I throw in some coconut flakes as well. I put it all in a cute jar, or even a little plastic bag to throw in my purse or my car to snack on all day! Peanut Butter Toast This is probably one of my favorites, and it’s such a good treat! It’s a great way to start the day with something healthy and filling. I got some whole grain toast, peanut butter, coconut shavings, gr8nola, some honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon! It’s a super great breakfast, or even a snack! Having this healthy snack is such a great way to keep my mind off sweets especially during the holidays which means temptation season! And thanks to our partnership gr8nola we were able to make a generous donation to Freedom from Hunger just in time for the holidays!
