Revolve Around the World: Ibiza

Song of Style

Aimee Song, fashion blogger of Song of Style, chronicles her most recent vacation to Ibiza, Spain with the Revolve family. Revolve Around the World was such a treat. I got to spend time in Ibiza with friends new and old while seeing my Jacopo and staying by the picturesque countryside. As soon as I landed, I knew it was going to be a nonstop exploration of Ibiza. The first day I was there we went to eat lunch at a restaurant called La Granja. They strictly served organic food that was harvested on the property’s farm. This meant all the produce was fresh and the best part was they slow cooked everything. I can’t stress enough that the food was so, so good. It was my favorite restaurant we ate at because not only was the food good, but it gave me major inspiration for interior design. Also, the pool situation made for a nice view. For this occasion I wore an LPA floral mini dress to keep me cool. I like how the orange in the dress matched La Granja’s architecture. Funny how that happened. At night we hit the old town section of Ibiza. The cobblestone streets and original buildings were so cute. We all dined at a restaurant named Olva. It was pretty good and the girls enjoyed the drinks (I don’t drink, but the lemonade was great haha). I opted to wear this Majorelle green mini dress. The metallic stripes on the dress give it a subtle sparkle that let’s you shine. Finally, a day in the sun (protected by sunscreen of course) and cooling off in the Mediterranean sea. We visited this place called Formentera, which is a little island I had never been to before. It was so naturally beautiful with clear waters and rocky cliffs. It’s a must-see and can easily be done as a day trip. For this excursion, I wore an LPA leopard bikini top and matching LPA leopard bikini bottom while yachting. I like high waisted bikinis because they’re more forgiving, which means I can eat whatever I want.Jacopo and I were on different boats so I had to steal a kiss from my Italian. What’s cool about this photo is it wasn’t planned or anything, someone just captured this moment making it truly candid.Remember how in my humidity shopping guide I said keep your dresses light and airy? Well this LPA polka dot mini dress was perfect for hot weather while at the countryside house we were staying at. Plus, the pattern was polka dots! It is my favorite print at the moment. Lunch with the Revolve family meant another outfit. This time I went with a Lovers + Friends floral mini dress. The dress was great for a casual lunch at Nobu. I can’t complain about the fresh fish and healthy custom juices, but since we were at the hotel, I still felt like I was in America. Personally, I recommend trying eateries that are local to Ibiza and not where you’re from. This way you get an authentic taste of the culture.Swimming in the Mediterranean sea for a second day was so much fun with all my friends like Camila, Jen, and Raissa. We all just got to lay around, talk, and jump in the water to cool off. It was so nice to just chill out in my Lovers + Friends one piece swimsuit. How pretty is this flower field? It was right next to our countryside house we stayed at. On this day I wore a Majorelle white peasant dress. It screams ethereal and vacation mode. This night was my favorite part of Ibiza. We went to a place called Lío for a night out. They put on an extravagant cabaret show while they served food. The food was okay, but I would definitely go there for a night out. We later got to go on the dance floor and work off our dinner dancing the night away. Luckily, my Retrofete red sequin dress was a good choice for this occasion and I was matching with a few of the girls. On my last day I went to a lunch that was poolside. We mostly hung out by the pool for the afternoon. On this day, I went for a tropical look in this LPA tropical crop top and matching pants (skirt version here). The golden color really feels summery with the hot pink floral pattern.
